So I assume that the motherboard was turning off the moment it realized that CPU cooler was not working. A goes from Cooler to motherboard USB3 header B goes from cooler to FANS Anyway one or both of them was not plugged correctly. I don't see how the radiator re-positioning would cause this problem, So I believe it's a problem with the motherboard. There are 2 cables that you must plug to the Liquid CPU cooler: A and B (you can see those in attached pictures). If I boot with only the CPU (no RAM) the EZ Debug LED stays lit solid on. I've waited for it but it really just remains blank. The cpu and dram leds are lit, I have checked both components and both seem. I looked it up in the user manual and it says that means the video card isnt working. When I look at the LED lights at the bottom of my mobo, my VGA light stays red. However, it will not show up on my monitor. Upon pressing F1 the screen goes black and remains this way. My computer has turned on, fans run, lights turn on, and the graphics card lights turn on as well. The only option is to "press F1 to run SETUP". It then takes me to the AMI POST screen, shown below. I see the ASUS loading screen for about 2 seconds with the text below saying "press F2 or Delete to enter UEFI BIOS setting" (which is unresponsive). However the Boot Device LED remains a solid red. On startup, my system powers on and all the debug LED's flash once (as per normal) on the ASUS Z97-A. It took a while (tight fit with the hard drive cage) but once it was all put back together I encountered the following problem. I did this with no issue on my last pc, but this one has an msi mpg z490 gaming edge wifi and. This weekend I decided to re-position the radiator of the h100i to the front intake for a push/pull configuration, I did have to remove the cooler and re-seat it on the CPU.
